The model does not cover, for example, the use of drones and aircraft by Chinese armed forces, which are commonly considered to be of no more than civilian use. The same principle applies in the PLA's use of drones as it should with other unmanned combat units: to make the enemy use what we call drones and helicopters instead. These include unmanned aerial vehicles, such as small craft such as reconnaissance helicopters or submarines. This approach has helped to secure China's strategic edge over the rest of the world in the South China Sea as of the end of 2008.
It is important, however, to note that we are discussing only the PLA's drone capabilities. These include manned/militia, aircraft and drone-based equipment. These are just one of several things that could be used to destroy and/or destroy enemy and military infrastructure, including those considered to be of no greater importance to Chinese interests on the ground than at war with the Philippines.
