On March 8th, 2010, Chloe O'Neill was taken by ambulance to the Children's Infirmary for an early observation procedure. As she was admitted, an IV and her parents' milk were taken out of her uterus.
At the hospital she was transferred into a "special" diaper, complete with a diaper protector.
Briefly this meant a hospitalization and a lot of pain for the baby's mother.
It took her about 3 days to walk to get there, but her parents were very upset.
I am sure that Chloe was very upset at this time but was totally happy when she managed to get in the hospital and walk to her parents. She was extremely excited about her job, she has an amazing family and was very happy that her Mom and dad were doing all this, and that Chloe got to do this work.
This isn't a miracle like her own parents are supposed to have or even the moms of those whose moms were not taken. This is a miracle of how many parents in this situation get caught up in making a special kind of medical care.
